Selected functional areas of ComSTAR®2000
The sales department deals comprehensively with the problems of sales prices, dispatching, sales returns and supplies returns, supplies invoicing, additional discounts including the calculation of basic data for EKOKOM package reporting. In the production department, the order data is used for the calculation of demands for production, based on structured consumption, production instructions are generated. In addition to the control of the actual usage of raw materials and wrappings, it is also possible to calculate production prices and analyse production plans with respect to production costs and consumption of raw materials, providing results in either prices or in quantity units. The purchasing section also allows the automatic ordering of "re-dispatched" products supplied by other companies. The transport section, in addition to the extensive processing of issues within the area of distribution of products to the customers, allows you to monitor the operation and repairs of vehicles and the remuneration of workers in the department.
ComSTAR®2000 distributed solution
ComSTAR
®2000 provides tools for the creation of a homogenous information system consisting of a number of locally operated systems. Within the distributed solution it is possible to centrally administer and distribute general data lists (customers, suppliers, products, consumption standards etc.), pricelists and other information as necessary.
The data generated in the individual local systems is automatically sent to the central system where it is processed. This includes, for example, the collection of delivery notes for the purpose of central invoicing of customers or the collection of customer invoices and accounting records for the processing of the central financial account. Moreover, the IS enables mutual communication of local systems in the area of purchasing and sales, thereby ensuring the fast and secure exchange of information in performance with mutual sub-deliveries by the cooperating bakery operations.
